Roadworthy Certification Rules in New South Wales

In  New South Wales you are required to get a safety inspection on your car to certify it as being as roadworthy every year if your vehicle is more than 5 years old. As an authorised inspection station, we’ll ensure that your car meets all the requirements of a roadworthy vehicle, and have you back on the road in no time. If your vehicle does not meet all the requirements then we will provide you with a detailed Repairs Needed report of what you need to get fixed to pass; if requested, we can also provide you with a quote to get the items repaired by our team of mechanics.

If the repairs are made within 14 days then we can re-inspect your vehicle at no additional cost; if the vehicle does not meet this deadline then you will not be able to register your car and you will need to pay for a second roadworthy inspection. This is the law in New South Wales and all authorised inspection stations are required to follow this procedure. Once you pass your safety inspection we send the results to Roads and Maritime electronically, enabling you to register your vehicle for another year.
